I had the strangest dream last night. I usually don't remember dreams but this thing has been stuck in my head all day. I am not sure what he is or why space was red but I know this was no average dream. I can remember a war of some sort going on for a thing that they called Red Space. This was the last thing I could recall from my dream. Sorry if I come off a bit crazy here... What can you decode from this dream? Bird looking people fighting a war against giant Robots? Really this is what my brain comes up with? I jotted down some real quick sketches of these things in my dream journal and I will post up another picture tomorrow of what the robots looked like. I feel like I am twelve years old and reading comics again.. I may just have the need to make a second little book out of this guy.

Strange dreams indeed. Bird people fighting robots would definitely make for a good battle. Your bird guy looks scared too..haha
it isn't important what we think it means, but what YOU think it means. what does the color red symbolizes to you? do you think the war is over a conflict you've had with someone or something in real life? or is it an internal struggle within yourself? it could even be something as simple as a book you just read, or something you just saw on tv, or something going on with a friend or family member. how did you feel about the bird looking people? were they the good guys or the bad guys? what did they remind you? same thing with the giant robots. i can definitely see some nature vs. machine, or size between small, & large. dreams can really be about anything, or nothing.

Most of this is just an educated guess. If I knew more details or more about your life, I'd likely be more accurate, but here we go anyway.
War signifies internal conflict. Red Space I would imagine is then some part of your life you're unsure about. Birds represent freedom, Robots generally intelligence or order. From this, I would guess that you've got two issues in your life, two paths you could go down, that you can't choose between, and your subconscious is choosing to make them better known to you. The path of Freedom VS the Smart path or else the "Standard" path. Why space is Red, I don't know. Red generally signifies passion, among other things, so I would guess that you're trying to decide your future career?
look up how to lucid dream and you can control them better and have fun with them :D its scary at first and you might have a few night terrors but flying is the SHIT!

I don't think all dreams mean something. Some do, some don't. I usually don't remember mine either.

The best thing to do would be to write down your dreams immediately when you can; however, for me that usually means ending my (lucid) dream prematurely, something I'd rather not do since lucid dreaming is so much fun.
I have to agree with anne. This is a creative plotline bubbling out.

Yeah, I can never remember my dreams either... Yours certainly sounds interesting though.
Everyones brain uses different imagery so theres no one way to interpit it. You have to use your own mind to understand it.

Red Space = Sky is on fire, and that's why the bird people are fighting. The robots set the sky on fire to control/ground the bird people, and now the birds are fighting back.
I so believe that dreams mean something. It might not be what we think...but they always mean something!

I had lots of red in my dream, but they were clouds and shapes and things, then became the wind, swept over us, and ended the world - only for it to begin anew with Noah's Ark.

However, I gather you are a (successful) writer, so it could be just creativity. I agree that the red was important.
